Praise and Thanksgiving

Psalm 57:5 — Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!

God you are the subject of our praise! You are the one we turn to. YOU are the one who holds the world in your hands and you are the one to whom all praise is due!

Global Topics

We pray for our friends in Gillingham, England at Gillingham Baptist Church. We pray for Elders Simon Chase and John Blake and for the ministry of the Word among them. Thank you for the faithfulness to your church abroad and we pray for increased fruit among them. Send workers to till the field and labor alongside them for your glory.

National Topics

We ask for you to energize your church here in the States. Make our passion for your name infectious as we seek to follow you in our obedience. God, we pray you would strip away our reliance on anything but you – that when your church is weak, then it will be shown as strong. Because nothing is as powerful as you.

Local Topics

We give you thanks for the ministry of our friends at Redeeming Grace Church. We’ve benefitted from the preaching of John Filkey even at Grace and we pray for him as he transitions to Canyon Bible Church in Prescott. Please give the church the grace to look to you in this time of transition, knowing that nothing is uncertain in your plans. We ask for you to provide the right person to give leadership to the church going forward.

Fellowship Topics

And we praise you this morning for all that you are doing here at Grace. From the addiction ministry to the students who gather in the mornings, to the ministry of the Word that circulates as the lifeblood of the body, you have been so good to show us how valuable you are! Keep feeding us. Keep teaching us.

We praise you that you’ve kept the life of our sister, Nicole Buxton, who has made it through her surgery and is in the long process of recovery. Thank you for hearing our prayers! Keep healing in our midst. Keep moving in our body. Keep pressing us deeper and deeper into the joy of treasuring Christ in all of life.

In Jesus name, amen.
