Praise and Thanksgiving

There is a power that comes from knowing that nothing can separate us from Christ’s love!

Romans 8:35–39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? 36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Global Topics

We continue to ask for the witness of the church to spread your fame in this time of pandemic. Give her wisdom in this time of confusion. Give her boldness in the face of fear. Give her favor and add souls to the kingdom! Let your Spirit reign.

National Topics

We ask that you give the church in every place wisdom in how to lead in these tumultuous times. Draw us near to you, God, so that the church is led out of the overflow of your love and not just as decision makers. Protect your church from division, rally us around the gospel, give us grace for the differences of opinion that exist within the church and make us winsome in the sight of men so that your glory would be spread.

Local Topics

We ask for you to prosper the preaching of Christ around the city of Phoenix – lift up the name of Jesus! Cause people to turn from their sins and receive grace! We pray that you would bless Whitton Ave Bible Church this morning and their pastor, Chris Newkirk. Make their lampstand to shine brightly in the darkness of these times.

Fellowship Topics

We love that we can gather together as Grace Church, even in our different houses. We pray that you would unify us around the sure and steady truth of Christ. We ask that you’d heal the sick – we pray for Jenn Roberge who is recovering from surgery. We pray that our joy in Christ would be a real anchor for our souls. We pray for our time of singing/preaching – that we would be built up in the Word today.
