I'm excited to share how the mission continues. Over the next few months, we will be highlighting opportunities to pray, give, and engage in what God is doing through His people around the world. Be watching for updates, stories, and new ways your family can be involved. Together, we want to pursue His heart for the nations and walk faithfully in His calling.

Summer Reading

“Let the Nations be Glad” - John Piper
“Missions” - Andy Johnson (9Marks)

Get these books, read them, listen to them and plan to engage in discussions as a family, in your gospel community or over coffee with friends. Both books are rooted in God’s glory and the centrality of the church in proclaiming the gospel to all nations so that when Jesus returns we will rejoice and worship forever.

Piper emphasizes that missions exist because worship doesn’t—God’s glory is the ultimate goal, and missions aim to bring all nations to worship Him (Psalm 67, Revelation 7:9). Johnson’s focus is on the church’s role as the primary agent of missions, stressing healthy, gospel-centered churches planting other churches through intentional, sacrificial sending (Acts 13:1-3, Matthew 28:18-20).

Throughout the summer, we will be hosting a Wednesday night gathering to experience the stories of the men and women who followed the Great Commission.

This fun, casual event will provide a meaningful way for us to gather together consistently over the summer. I highly encourage you take advantage of this time to build community around God’s heart for the nations.
